Since the device has been discontinued by its manufacturer, the Cisco ASA 5505 is available from Amazon.com and other aftermarket tech retailers. Unfortunately, the last date that Cisco will issue signature updates for its software is March 31, 2016. For those who already own a Cisco ASA 550f, the device will no longer receive support from the manufacturer after January 31, 2018. At that point, the device will become obsolete.
